Located on Nui Lon in Ward 5, Vung Tau City, the bunker was built by the Japanese army in 1944 to store naval mines for blockading Ganh Rai Bay. Later, during the resistance war against the French, it was used by revolutionary forces to hide weapons and shelter cadres.
